Texas State Champions 2020
Sam Kempka
Sam’s Oshi style sumo is the kind other wrestlers hate to face. Joining Dark Circle Sumo just before 2020 he was a rookie this year. He came out strong not losing a single match in his 1st tournament. Getting gold in both Heavyweight and Open weight. He later would take gold in the Light-Heavyweight at Nationals. A lot is expected from Sam in the future.
Eros Armstrong
Also from Dark Circle and also a rookie, our women Champion is in a class by herself. If Sam has high expectations, Eros's potential is through the roof. She did not lose to another female opponent the entire 2020 season. More than just winning she dominated every step of the way. We are very excited to see what she can do on the world level.
